User onboarding journey

When a user signs up for your platform for the first time, they will go through an onboarding process where they can choose the settings for their account. The onboarding journey is the same on desktop and mobile.

This article explains the onboarding process and the pages the user can expect to see. The pages are listed in the order they appear during the onboarding journey.

The onboarding process may vary depending on the settings applied to your platform. Some screens may not be visible in all cases. The standard onboarding screens applicable to all platforms are marked as Standard below, while fields that depend on your specific settings are marked as Conditional.

Platform language page

Standard field

On this page, users decide in which language they'd like to use the platform. Their choice also determines the language of the rest of the onboarding journey. This page is shown in English.

The available language options are:

  • English
  • French
  • German
  • Italian
  • Spanish

Users can later change their preferences at any time in their Language settings.
