When a user signs up for your platform for the first time, they will go through an onboarding process where they can choose the settings for their account. The onboarding journey is the same on desktop and mobile.
This article explains the onboarding process and the pages the user can expect to see. The pages are listed in the order they appear during the onboarding journey.
The onboarding process may vary depending on the settings applied to your platform. Some screens may not be visible in all cases. The standard onboarding screens applicable to all platforms are marked as Standard below, while fields that depend on your specific settings are marked as Conditional.
Platform language page
Standard field
On this page, users decide which language they'd like to use the platform in. The page is shown in English, and depending on the user's choice, all subsequent onboarding pages and the platform are shown in the selected language.
The available language options are:
- English
- French
- German
- Italian
- Spanish
Users can later change their preferences at any time in their Language settings.
If you want to provide the language page in a language other than English, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager at Haiilo for assistance. The page can be set to only one language, which will be the same for all users.
Welcome page
Standard field
On this page, users are welcomed to your platform. The text on the page is customizable in the Onboarding settings. The example below shows the default text.
The "Your Company Name" part is taken from your Administration > Settings > General > Company name field.
Terms of service and privacy policy page
Standard field
On this page, users accept Haiilo's terms of service and privacy policy. Additionally, you can add your company's privacy policy alongside Haiilo's in the Onboarding settings. Any added policy or terms need to be accepted before the user can proceed.
If you require a fully customized privacy policy page, contact your Customer Success Manager for assistance.
