When sharing content, you can schedule your share to be published at a later date and time. There are two options for this: Smart Share and scheduling a share. You can schedule shares for LinkedIn and Bluesky.
If you change your mind about the share before it's published, you can cancel it. Learn more in Cancelling scheduled or Smart Shares.
Schedule a share
- Select Schedule share in the sharing window.
- Choose a date and time for when the post should be shared. The time is set according to your computer's time zone.
- Select Schedule.
Your share is scheduled! You can view your scheduled shares in View My Insights.
Use Smart Share
To Smart Share, simply select Smart Share in the sharing window.
With Smart Share, your shares are automatically scheduled to publish at optimal times for each network. Each Smart Share will be shared within 7 days of selection. You will not see the exact date and time your post will be shared, as these can change dynamically based on the number of posts that you Smart Share.
There is a limit of 100 shares per week per social network via Smart Share. If that limit is met, you'll be instructed to schedule the time manually or use Share now.
Optimal time slots
The optimal time slots for sharing are determined based on generally recommended times that Haiilo has found in our research to be when people are most engaged on social media.
- LinkedIn: Your share is published either between 8:00-9:00 or 12:00-12:30.
- Bluesky: Your share is published either between 8:00-9:00 or 12:00-12:30.
By default, each optimal time slot accommodates one share. If a time slot is already filled from an earlier Smart Share, your share will be shifted to the next available time slot, and so on. If you use Smart Share a lot, time slots adjust to allow for more shares, ensuring that your shares are always distributed within 7 days of selection. Effectively, this means that many pieces of content can be shared on the same day via Smart Share, but they will occupy different time slots.
