User account settings

You can view and change your account settings from the user drop-down menu's Settings option.

General

Under the General settings, you can view and edit:

  • Profile information: You can edit your first and last name. Other users can see your name next to posts or comments you create and on the Leaderboard.
    • If you need to update the email address associated with your account, please contact your Haiilo Admins for assistance. You cannot change your own email address. Admins can edit a user's email in the Users menu
    • Depending on your platform's settings, you may have the option to include a job title, department, country, phone number, and description. If a user hovers over your name on the platform, they can view your profile information. If you do not see these settings, it isn't enabled for your platform.

  • Use Haiilo as an Anonymous user: Depending on your platform's settings, you may have the option to be Anonymous on the platform. Being anonymous means that your name will not be displayed on the Leaderboard or in any analytics. Your fellow users will, however, be able to see your name on posts or comments you create.
    • If you do not see this option, you cannot be anonymous.
  • Set your password: You can change your password. After changing it, use your new password to log into Haiilo. Learn more in Reset your Haiilo Advocacy account password.
  • Social network settings: You can connect social network accounts to your Haiilo account for sharing on the networks. Learn more in Connect your social media accounts.

Language settings

You can define the language settings for your platform, including platform language, content language, and translation language. Learn more in Language settings.

Notifications

You can change the notification settings for your platform, including in-app and email notifications. Learn more in Notification settings.

Delete my account

If you want to stop using Haiilo, you can permanently delete your account. A deleted account cannot be restored.

The method of deleting your account depends on the way it was created.

  • An account created via SSO is deleted by typing DELETE.
  • An account created by invitation or registration is deleted by entering your account password.

Access tokens

Depending on your platform's settings and your role, you may be able to create access tokens to use Haiilo's API. Learn more in Generate an Access Token.
