You can easily share content from Haiilo to Instagram using the Haiilo Amplify mobile app. You can share Link, Article, Image, and Video posts on Instagram.
It's not possible to share content to Instagram from the Haiilo Advocacy browser version. You can only share using the Haiilo Amplify mobile app.
Requirements for sharing
- Instagram is activated for your platform
- You have the Instagram and Haiilo Amplify apps installed on your mobile device
- For iOS users, you have granted access to Photos for both the Haiilo Amplify and Instagram apps in your mobile device's settings
- For Android users, your Instagram and Haiilo Amplify apps are installed in the same profile (personal or work)
Share to Instagram
When sharing to Instagram, only the media is shared, so no text from the post's title or body is transferred to Instagram. Additionally, you can only share one image on Instagram at a time.
- Open and log in to the Haiilo Amplify mobile app.
- Go to the Postfeed tab.
- Select Share under a post.
- Select Instagram as the social network to which you wish to share.
- If the admins provide a sharing message for the post, copy it to your mobile device's clipboard before continuing to the Instagram app.
- When Instagram opens, select where you wish to share: Feed or Story. When sharing videos, allow time for the video to load on Instagram. This may take a few minutes; do not close the app during this process.
- Paste the previously copied sharing message into the post on Instagram.
- Note: This only works on Android. iOS users cannot paste a sharing message due to an Instagram restriction.
- Complete the sharing process by adding filters, captions, tagging people, and adding a location, as you would with any Instagram post.
- Publish your Instagram post or story.
