When sharing a post that includes an image from Haiilo, you can upload your own image to customize how the share appears on social media. This allows you to use an image that differs from the one included in the original post. The option is available in the browser and the Haiilo Amplify mobile app.
Your Company Admin decides which supported post types allow custom images in Post settings. If you don't see the option to add a custom image when sharing, it might not be available for that post type or enabled on your platform.
Supported post types and networks
Custom images are supported as follows:

For Link, Article, and Video posts, you can add only one custom image. For image posts, you can upload as many images as each social network allows. Learn more in Creating an Image post.
Add a custom image to a share
- Find the post you want to share.
- Select the icon for the social network to which you want to share.
- In the sharing window, select the option Add custom image.
- Upload the image you want to use.
- The supported image formats include JPEG, PNG, native iOS and Android images, and GIF. Each image file must not exceed 5MB, and its dimensions must not exceed 2048px in width or height.
- Share the post immediately or schedule it, depending on the sharing options available to you.
The custom image is used only for your share. It doesn't change the original post in Haiilo.
Remove a custom image
You can remove a custom image you uploaded before sharing or scheduling the post. After you remove it, the custom image will no longer be used for the share.
