Defining session timeout new

You can enhance the security of your platform by customizing session timeout settings. Session timeout refers to the period of inactivity after which a user is automatically logged out of Haiilo Advocacy. This means you can choose a time limit, and your idle users will be automatically logged out after that time, requiring them to log back in to access the platform. A session is deemed idle when a user hasn't refreshed the page within the timeframe.

The logout applies to both the browser version and the Haiilo Share mobile app.

Customize session timeout

You need to be a Company Admin to manage these settings.

  1. Go to Administration > Settings > General.
  2. Under Session Timeout, input a number in the field. Only use whole numbers, no decimals.
  3. Choose a time option: Day, Hour, or Minute.
  4. Select Save changes.

Now, if you entered 90 and selected Hour, your users will be logged out every 90 hours.

The maximum and default session timeout is 30 days, but you can set any timeout from 1 minute to 30 days.
