Clicks EEMV
Clicks Estimated Earned Media Value (EEMV) puts a price tag on your shared posts based on clicks. It aims to provide an estimate for the question: "If I had to pay for these clicks using ads, how much would it cost?"
Your Clicks EEMV is calculated by multiplying CPC (cost-per-click) with the total number of clicks your posts have generated on social media during the selected time period.
Unlike the Clicks metric, the Clicks EEMV metric counts total clicks. Therefore, if the same person clicks a post 5 times, it counts as 5 clicks.
For the Clicks EEMV calculation, you can use Haiilo's default CPC values or contact your Haiilo Customer Success Manager to request the use of your company's own custom CPC values. Haiilo's default values are:
$5.26 for LinkedIn
$0.46 for X
$0.97 for Facebook
$4.57 for Xing
Impressions LinkedIn EEMV
Impressions LinkedIn Estimated Earned Media Value (EEMV) puts a price tag on your shared posts on LinkedIn based on impressions. It aims to provide an estimate for the question: "If I had to pay for these views using ads, how much would it have cost?"
Your Impressions LinkedIn EEMV is calculated by multiplying every 1,000 impressions during the selected time period by CPM (cost per mille).
Haiilo's CPM value is $28. This means Haiilo values every 1,000 impressions at $28. At the moment, you cannot define a custom CPM.
Potential reach is the total number of the potential number of social network users who were served with shared posts during the selected time period.
Reach is derived from a user's social media connections. This means if you have 500 connections, your potential reach is 500.
Potential Reach is calculated from a user's social network connections in real-time and is, therefore, fluid.
If a user gets more connections, their reach increases, and vice versa.
If a user disconnects their social account from Haiilo, their reach disappears for all their shares, current and historical. If they reconnect, the reach returns.
Potential reach is calculated for LinkedIn.
Clicks
Clicks are the total number of all unique clicks on shared posts on social media during the selected time period. This includes anyone clicking the link that has originated from you even if it has been re-shared or distributed elsewhere from its original location.
Clicks are a good indicator of how interesting your shares are to your network.
The Clicks metric counts only unique clicks, meaning if the same person clicks a post 5 times, it still only counts as 1 click.
Clicks are recorded for Link and Article posts but not for Image and Video posts.
Clicks are attributed to the original post based on the month it was shared. For example, if a post is shared in May and receives clicks in June, those clicks will be counted in May's analytics in Workforce Insights, not June's, since the post was shared in May.
Impressions
Impressions are the total number of times shared posts from Haiilo were seen on LinkedIn by any user during the selected time period. Impressions show how many times content appears on someone else's screen.
In short, impressions measure visibility, not interaction. It tells you how often shared posts appeared somewhere on LinkedIn, regardless of whether anyone clicked or interacted with them.
An impression is counted each time content is displayed, so one user can generate multiple impressions for the same post.
Active Ambassadors is the number of unique users who have shared at least one post to a social media network during the selected time period.
Select the widget to open a list with the names of the users who have shared. The list can be exported. If a user has been deleted, their name is replaced with 'N/A'.
Shares
Shares are the total number of all shares from Haiilo to social networks during the selected time period.
A user can share the same post across multiple social networks, and each of these shares is counted as a new one. Additionally, re-shares by the same user on the same network are also counted as a new share.
Shares are counted based on when a share has been created. Shares created within the specified time period but scheduled to be shared outside that time period are counted in the time period of creation, not in the time period when the share is actually completed.
This means if a share is scheduled on April 30th to be shared on May 15th, the share is counted in the time period that includes April 30th and not in the time period that includes May 15th.
Reactions
Reactions are the total number of all likes and comments on shared posts on social media during the selected time period.
Reactions are collected for all types of posts shared on LinkedIn.
Reactions are attributed to the original post based on the month it was shared. For example, if a post is shared in May and receives reactions in June, those reactions will be counted in May's analytics in Workforce Insights, not June's, since the post was shared in May.
Clicks and Reactions per Share
Clicks and Reactions per Share displays the average number of Clicks and Reactions per share during the selected time period, calculated using the formula: Clicks + Reactions / Shares.
