For a simple and quick setup, Haiilo offers a ready-to-go AI provider that you can use instead of setting up your own. This means you can use Haiilo's AI feature AVA (Artificial Virtual Assistant) without needing your own AI provider. Haiilo's AI provider, called Haiilo AI, is provided by Google Vertex AI.

Alternatively, you can use OpenAI or Microsoft Azure OpenAI as providers instead of Haiilo AI. Learn more in Setting up AVA with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI or Google Vertex AI.

Using Haiilo AI as a provider for Haiilo AVA is a paid add-on. Please contact your Account Manager for assistance and further information. 

Set up Haiilo AVA

You need to be a Company Admin to configure the settings for Haiilo AVA.

1. Go to Administration > Settings > AI Assistant
2. Check Activate AVA
3. Select Haiilo AI as your provider. You can only use one provider for Haiilo AVA.
4. Choose an option:
   • Activate for admin users: Only Company Admins, Group Admins, or Channel Managers can use AVA.
   • Activate for all users: All users can use AVA.
5. Optionally, you can activate AVA only for certain groups by checking Activate for specific groups and then selecting the groups in the list. Only users belonging to those groups can use AVA.
6. Select Save
