Why are there more or fewer proposed posts in the feed than the drop-down shows?

Company Admins may notice discrepancies between the feed drop-down and the actual Proposed feed due to differences in the calculation:

  • Feed number drop-down: Displays the count of posts in the Proposed feed only from channels you are subscribed to. The numbers listed in this dropdown do not account for posts that have already been published in some channels but are still pending in others. Additionally, the count does not consider your language settings.
  • Actual feed: Displays all posts that are proposed across your platform in the Proposed feed, regardless of your channel subscriptions.

Example

In the example screenshot below, Jane is subscribed only to the "All Company" channel, so her feed drop-down shows only 2 posts from this channel.

However, since Jane is a Company Admin, she can view 86 posts in her Proposed feed, as there are additional pending posts across other channels on the platform that she is not subscribed to.
