Link post

To create a Link post in the Haiilo mobile app, you have to either paste a URL in the provided field or write it in manually. Haiilo's content fetcher will fetch the content from the URL, if possible, and show you a preview. You can then edit the title, body, and image.

On the Configure step, you can edit the settings for your Link post. You have to:

  • select the channels you want to create the content in
  • select the language of the post (if applicable)
  • select the target audience
    • if external, add social networks and sharing messages
  • configure additional settings

On the Confirm step, write your thoughts on the post and see a preview of what the post will look like when published.

Article post

To create an Article post in the Haiilo mobile app, you have to manually write in the title and body of your post, and you can upload an image to your post as well if you want to.

Image post

To create an Image post in the Haiilo mobile app, you first select the target audience and possible social networks. Each social network restricts the number of images allowed to be shared, so if you select multiple networks for your post, the most restrictive network's restrictions are applied to your post.

Then, you have to upload at least one but up to 10 images or one gif from your phone's image library. Haiilo's image post supports both native iOS and Android images as well as jpg, jpeg, and png images. You also have to add a title for your image post.

On the Configure step, you can edit the settings for your Link post. You have to:

  • select the channels you want to create the content in
  • select the language of the post (if applicable)
  • add sharing messages (if external post)
  • configure additional settings

On the Confirm step, write your thoughts on the post and see a preview of what the post will look like when published.

Video post

To create a Video post in the Haiilo mobile app, you first select the target audience and possible social networks. Each social network has different requirements for the videos allowed to be shared, so if you select multiple networks for your post, the most restrictive network's restrictions are applied to your post. You can view video requirements per networks in this article.

Then, you have to upload one video from your phone's video library. Haiilo's video post feature supports native iOS and Android and mp4 videos. Some networks allow mov videos. You also have to add a title for your video post. If you want, you are able to upload another image from your phone to be the thumbnail for your video post.

Approve or reject a post

As an Admin or Channel Manager, you can review posts that users have proposed directly from the Haiilo Share mobile app.

  1. From the Postfeed, in the top part of the app, click on Posts
  2. You will see a drop-down menu from where you should choose Proposed to navigate to the Proposed feed
  3. To review a post for publication, you can click on either the Continue or Reject-button under the post.

To approve the post, click Continue. This will take you to the post creation window where you will be able to see and edit the information in the post, i.e. title, article body, image, and settings.

In the Configure step, you have to select individually for each channel that the post has been proposed to if the post is approved or rejected to that channel. You do this by choosing either the X or the checkmark next to each channel the post has been proposed to. You can distinguish which channels a post is proposed to from the text 'Pending for review' under the channel's name.

When you either reject or approve the post to be published to the individual channels, the description will change to either 'Will be approved' or 'Will be rejected'. You can also choose additional channels to publish the post in by selecting them, if you like.

After editing the post and approving or rejecting for each channel the post was proposed to, you can publish the post by choosing Done on the last step.
