There are three types of notifications for Haiilo Advocacy:
- Email notifications - notifications that a user receives as emails to their account's email address
- In-app notifications - notifications that are shown inside the web app under the bell icon or in the mobile app's Notifications tab
- Push notifications - notifications that pop up on a mobile device's home screen
Below you will find a table of the actions that trigger a notification and which type of notification is sent. The tables are separated by role. The first table shows notifications that all users receive regardless of their role, and the two other tables are separated by notifications for admins and users only. Then, a table explaining the email notifications for the Post on Behalf feature.

Transactional emails are excluded from these tables, such as email newsletter emails, invitations, registration emails, reset password emails, login link emails, etc.

1 when a new public channel is created in a group, only that group's users and admins are informed.
2 in order for the reward emails “Reward claim pending” to be sent when a user claims a reward, an admin's email address must be added in the Gamification settings in the field "Emails of people in charge of rewards".
3 for instances with Trophies enabled. Users are reminded to be active and reach their next trophy if they haven't been sharing or creating content in the past 30 days.
