List of notification triggers and types

There are three types of notifications for Haiilo Advocacy:

  • Email notifications: The user receives an email to their account's email address.
  • In-app notifications: The user receives a notification in the platform's bell icon or in the Notifications tab of the mobile app.
  • Push notifications: The user receives a pop-up notification on their mobile device.

You can specify which actions trigger notifications in your account. Learn more in Notification settings.

Below, you will find a table of the actions that trigger a notification and which type of notification is sent. The tables are separated by role: the first table shows notifications that all users receive regardless of their role, and the two other tables are separated by notifications for admins and users only.

These tables exclude emails that are generated by a user's actions, such as newsletters, invitations, registration emails, reset password emails, login link emails, etc.

When a new public channel is created in a group, only that group's users and admins are informed.

For the reward email "Reward claim pending” to be sent when a user claims a reward, an admin's email address must be added in the Gamification settings in the field "Emails of people in charge of rewards".

For platforms with Trophies enabled. Users are reminded to be active and reach their next trophy if they haven't been sharing or creating content in the past 30 days.
