Using filters in Analytics

On the right side of Workforce Insights, you can see different filter options that allow you to dig into specific analytics in more detail. You can filter by all or any of the following:

  • Period: Select the time frame for which you want to see your data. The default setting is Today & Last 29 Days. Using our flexible filter, you can easily choose the time frame that fits your needs.
  • Post's Group: Select group(s) to view data for posts created in a specific group or groups.
  • Post's Channel: Select channels(s) to view data for posts that exist in at least the selected channel(s).
    • If a post is published in multiple channels, data from all channels in which the post is published will be included, even if you filter by a specific channel.
  • User's Group: Select group(s) to view data on activity by users belonging to specific group(s). This means, for example, shares of any posts by the users in the selected group.
  • User's Team: Select team(s) to view data on activity by users belonging to specific team(s). This means, for example, shares of any posts by the users in the selected team.
  • Post's Campaign: Select campaign(s) to view data for posts with a specific campaign(s).
  • Post Type: Select post type(s) to view data for posts of a specific type: Link, Article, Image, or Video.
  • Social Network: In Workforce Insights: Advocacy, select a social network to view data for that specific social network, e.g., shares to the network.

If you want to remove all filters applied to a dashboard, you can do so by clicking the Refresh icon at the top of the Filters section. Clicking this icon will reset all applied filters and restore the dashboard to its original state.
