This article explains how Haiilo calculates and tracks clicks, reactions, and potential reach for your shared posts. You can view the personal analytics for your shares on the View My Insights page in Haiilo.

Clicks

Clicks represent how many individual people have clicked on posts you shared on social media. Haiilo counts unique clicks only: If the same person clicks your post multiple times, only the first click is counted.

• Sync: Click data appears in Haiilo within a few minutes after the click happens.
• Points: You can earn points in Haiilo for clicks on your shared posts. Learn more in Understanding points.
• Supported Post Types: Clicks are only recorded for Link and Article posts.
• Supported Networks: Clicks are recorded for all networks except Instagram.

Reactions

Reactions indicate how users engage and interact with your social media posts. These include Likes, Comments, and sometimes Reshares.

• Sync: Reactions appear in Haiilo within 24 hours after they're recorded.
• Points: No points are awarded for reactions.
• Supported Post Types: Reactions are recorded on all post types.
• Supported Networks: Reactions are fetched from shares on LinkedIn and Bluesky.

How long reactions are gathered

Haiilo gathers reactions for up to 14 days from the last recorded reaction on a post. Each new reaction resets the 14‑day collection window. Example:

• If a post receives a reaction on day 5, Haiilo continues to collect reactions for another 14 days from that point, meaning until day 19 from when the share was created.
• If another reaction occurs on day 16, the 14‑day period starts again.
• If no reactions are received within 14 days, Haiilo stops gathering reactions for that post.

If a user disconnects their social media account from Haiilo, reactions are no longer gathered for their shared posts.

Potential Reach

Potential reach is calculated in real time based on your social network connections. The number of connections you have on a connected network equals your potential reach on that network.

Your potential reach changes as your number of connections changes: More connections increase your reach. Fewer connections decrease your reach.

• Sync: Potential reach is updated in real-time. Decreases and increases in connections are immediate.
• Points: No points are awarded for fluctuations in reach.
• Supported Post Types: Potential reach is recorded on all post types.
• Supported Networks: Potential reach is calculated only for LinkedIn.

If you disconnect your LinkedIn account from Haiilo, your reach data will be removed from historical shares since Haiilo won't have access to your connection count. When you reconnect your account, your reach data will be restored.
