Haiilo's Workforce Insights Advocacy analytics focuses on Employee Advocacy. It provides a detailed look at external data, e.g., shares, clicks, reactions, and potential social media reach for your users and their shared posts. The data is updated daily at approx. 9:00 a.m. CET with information from the previous day. You can access Advocacy Analytics from Analytics > Workforce Insights > Advocacy.
You can learn how to filter the data in Workforce Insights in Workforce Insights - Filter the data.
To make it easy for you to understand every aspect of Haiilo's Advocacy Analytics, you will find an "i" symbol located in the top-right corner of the widgets. If you select this symbol, you will get a description of the data that you are currently viewing. Additionally, any widget that has the icon will allow you to explore the data further by simply selecting the widget.
There is a difference between how Workforce Insights and Posts & Users Analytics calculate data:
- Workforce Insights shows you data on posts published in the selected time period
- Posts & Users analytics shows you data on posts that received any engagement in the selected time period
This means that Posts & Users analytics also includes posts that received clicks or reads, etc., in the time period, even if those posts were published outside of the time period.
Engagement meter
The Engagement meter shows you the percentage of your current users who shared at least one post to a social network during the selected time period. If you have 1000 users and 900 of them shared at least one post in the selected time period, your engagement percentage would be 90%.
To see more details, click on the meter to view additional graphs showing the teams and groups with your top sharers and most popular social networks.
The Total Users number under the meter refers to the current number of users by a selected filter. Haiilo doesn't store historical user counts, and that means if you are viewing the time Last year, the total users would still count the users that exist in the platform at the time of viewing, not how many existed last year.
Advocacy Progression Graph
The Advocacy Progression graph displays a timeline of the number of shares, clicks, and reactions your shared posts have received in the selected time period. This enables you to track the fluctuations in engagement over a specific time period and identify any unusual patterns, such as a sudden spike in clicks on a particular day. For easier visualization, you can add a trend line to the metrics in the graph by selecting Analyze it > Trend at the top.
You can hover over any point on the graph and select it to view detailed data for that point. For example, if we want to know what caused the spike in Reactions on January 23rd, we can select that point for the rest of the widgets to update to show us information only for that day.
Alternatively, you can also highlight a section in the graph by clicking and dragging across a timeframe. A pop-up appears where you can select Jump to SF - Advocacy details to open a deep dive into the content shared during that timeframe. You'll be able to see user and post-specific details, such as which user shared the most or which post received the most clicks on social media. The Jump to SF - Advocacy details option is only visible if there's sufficient data to analyze.
Widgets
You can see six widgets showing you total data for various events during the selected time period.
-
- This widget shows your Estimated Earned Media Value, which is calculated by multiplying CPC (cost-per-click) with the total number of clicks your posts have generated on social media during the selected time period.
- The EEMV widget calculates based on total clicks, meaning if the same person clicks a post 5 times, it will count as 5 clicks.
- For the EEMV calculation, you can use Haiilo's default CPC values or contact your Haiilo Customer Success Manager to request the use of your company's own custom CPC values.
- This widget shows you the number of users who have shared at least one post during the selected time period.
- You can click on the widget to open a list with the names of the users that have shared. The list can be exported. If a user has been deleted, their name is replaced by N/A.
- This widget shows you the number of posts published during the selected time period.
- This widget shows you the potential number of social network users who have been served with the shares made within the selected time period.
- Reach is calculated from a user's social network connections in real-time and is, therefore, fluid. If a user gets more connections, their reach increases, and vice versa. If a user disconnects their social account from Haiilo, their reach disappears for all their shares, current and historical. If they reconnect, the reach returns.

- This widget shows you the number of unique clicks on shares from Haiilo during the selected time period.
- The Clicks widget calculates based on unique clicks, meaning if the same person clicks a post 5 times, it will only count as 1 click.
- Clicks are attributed to the shared post on which they've been given, so if a post is shared in May and it receives clicks in June, the clicks will be counted in May's analytics in Workforce Insights, not June's as the post was shared in May.
- Clicks are recorded for Link and Article posts but not for Image and Video posts.

- This widget shows you the number of reactions (likes, comments) on shares from Haiilo during the selected time period.
- Reactions are attributed to the shared post on which they've been given, so if a post is shared in May and it receives reactions in June, the reactions will be counted in May's analytics in Workforce Insights, not June's as the post was shared in May.
- Reactions are fetched for all types of posts on LinkedIn and X

- This widget shows you the number of created shares from Haiilo to social networks in the selected time period.
- Shares are counted based on when a share has been created. Shares created inside the time period but scheduled to be shared outside the time period are counted in the time period of creation and not in the time period for when the share is actually completed. Meaning if a share is scheduled on 30.4 to be shared on 15.5, the share is counted in the time period that includes 30.4 and not in the time period that includes 15.5.This widget shows the average number of Clicks and Reactions per Share by using the formula
Clicks + Reactions / Shares

Most Engaging Channels
The Most Engaging Channels graph displays the channels that your users are sharing the most from. In the below example, 59% of all shares are of posts located in the channel "Marketing Content & Blog".
To dive deeper into the shares from a particular channel, click on that part in the pie chart for the dashboard to update the rest of the widgets to show you information for that channel filter.
The graph calculates the number of shares a post receives per channel. Sometimes, a single post can be published in multiple channels, and as a result, shares are counted for all the channels in which the post is published. For example, if Post X is published in both Channel A and Channel B and is shared by a user subscribed to both channels, then the shares are counted for both channels. Although it may appear that there were two shares, the reality is that it was only one share of a post that was located in two channels.
Most Engaging Campaigns
The Most Engaging Campaigns chart shows which campaigns have generated the most shares to social media. In the below example, 44% of all shares were of posts with the "Marketing Content & Blog" campaign.
If the chart is empty or a pie piece is showing N/A, it means no campaign was selected for the posts. You can add campaigns to posts in your platform while creating or reviewing them to gather more data.
To dive deeper into the shares for a particular campaign, click on that part in the pie chart for the dashboard to update the rest of the widgets to show you information for that campaign filter.
Engagement per Social Network
The Engagement per Social Network chart displays the social networks to which your users most frequently share content. In the below example, 47% of all shares were to LinkedIn.
To dive deeper into the shares for a particular social network, click on that part in the pie chart for the dashboard to update the rest of the widgets to show you information for that social network filter.
